About Me

I am an AI and data science manager at Türkiye İş Bankası with a background that combines technology, analytics and people leadership. Over my 18+ years at the bank, I have worked in both HR and AI roles, which allows me to look at transformation not only from a systems perspective, but also from the angles of talent, culture and day-to-day work. In my current position as A.I. Manager and Data Science Chapter Lead, I coordinate teams working on generative and conversational AI, decision support and automation, helping business units turn their ideas into usable, reliable AI solutions.

Before moving into AI development full-time, I managed recruitment and HRIS projects, leading end-to-end hiring processes and the digitalization of key HR workflows. This experience shaped my practical, result-oriented approach to technology: I care about solutions that are understandable for users, fit real needs and can be maintained over time. I hold an M.Sc. in Information Technologies with a thesis on a Turkish AI interview bot, and I continue to be actively involved in the broader AI community and in exploring creative applications of generative AI.
